Evara: The Place Where My Experience Found Its Home”

My journey with Evara began as a hospitality consultant, but it quickly became clear that this was more than a project — it was a calling. With my vision deeply aligned with Ashutosh, our Managing Director, Evara evolved into something profoundly personal: a boutique space where Nepal’s culture, thoughtful design, and heartfelt hospitality converge.
I have always been drawn to boutique properties — places that tell a story, reflect local culture, and create intimate experiences. After graduating as the University Topper with an Honours Degree in Hospitality Management and earning the Dean’s Listed Award, I began my professional journey in 2016 with Nepal’s finest hotels: Dwarika’s, Shangri-La, and Fairfield by Marriott, later gaining global exposure at Sheraton Grand Bangalore in India.
Returning home, I focused on boutique properties like Traditional Comfort, Traditional Stay, and Bricks Café, before stepping into academia as Head of Sales & Marketing at the Academy of Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management — a decision driven by my desire to guide and inspire passionate youth entering the hospitality industry.
Along the way, I also created Ganvi’s Eatery around Patan Durbar Square, my 1st baby I would call it. Ganvi’s is a fusion fast-food space blending creativity, local flavors, and heart. What started small quickly became a city favorite — with unique dishes like Corn, Kodo and Beetroot nachos with multiple toppings of nachos, internationally inspired unique fusion appetizers, noodles, tacos and churros. A place that I have poured my everything into and so proud to call my own.

After that, I transitioned into hospitality and brand consulting — working with inspiring businesses like Avata Wellness, Nivasa Retreat, Artos Café, Lhakpa’s Chulo x Bhatti Jam, and more, helping them grow through thoughtful branding, training, and operational strategies
Today, Evara Boutique Hotel is the culmination of all these experiences. It is where everything I have learned about hospitality, culture, and brand storytelling comes together. For me, Evara is not just a hotel; it is a living homage to Nepal’s rich heritage, a space that celebrates culture through every detail — from design and ambiance to the people who bring it to life.
Here, I get to do what I love most — craft experiences that make guests feel connected, cared for, and inspired. Evara is my heart in hospitality: a space that reflects my journey, my values, and the kind of world I want to help create.

Warmly,

Anaida S. Nakarmi
